Where do I even begin, I went by myself and I did not have to worry about planning anything. Ramy ensures your accommodations are covered, you’ll be with a guide, you’ll have a designated driver, and everything is planned for you. I had an excellent time and decided to do the photoshoot ad-on (it’s worth it, just be prepared for a delay in receiving the photos). If it’s your first time going to Egypt I highly recommend you book it with Amen Ra, it is worth every penny!

Overall we had a really wonderful experience. Transportation was seamless, and we felt very safe throughout the entire trip. Communication with the main office was excellent and very quick responses to any of our inquiries. The trip met all expectations in terms of sites visited. A major highlight were the tour guides, who were extremely knowledgeable and were easy to converse with. Our guide in Luxor stood out among the others for his hospitality, warmth, and honest recommendations for our visit. I would like to point out some drawbacks that we were not expecting, as we have taken several private tours in the past for other countries: There were multiple days on the trip for which a stop for a lunch meal was not factored in. A few days had us going from 8am until close to 5pm with no food stops, and it was often unknown to us until the day of or night before, so we didn't feel that we had time to prepare. This made for two rough afternoons that left us quite depleted. In Cairo we had to ask to pause our tour because we were expecting a stop for us to purchase food that never happened. We were not able to get to everything that was planned for us, and we would have rather been told up front that it was not feasible to do everything there so we could have had more time to decide which activities to prioritize. Additionally, there were a few hotel bookings that didn't quite meet our expectation. While very nice accommodations themselves, we were hoping for more walkable locations and slightly reduced amenities as we had outlined in our initial booking discussion. Maybe providing a couple options prior to booking would be preferred, but I understand that other clients would prefer to have everything handled without thinking about it. I only write this as things to keep in mind for areas of improvement in my personal opinion. Ultimately, we enjoyed our experience and there were so many things that went well throughout the process. Thank you for allowing us to have a truly enriching experience exploring Egypt in such a short time and we will certainly recommend the company to others to check out!

We traveled to Egypt in November 2025 for my 40th birthday and the trip was amazing. Rami organized excellent guides for us at all of the sites, and seeing the pyramids and ancient temples and hieroglyphics in person was mind-blowing. We kept saying that every day was better than the last. It was great having all the transfers organized for us, we did not need to worry about anything when it came to getting around. Aswan was beautiful and it was amazing to sleep at a hotel on the banks of the Nile. Spending a few days in Dahab was an excellent end to the trip - Rami showed us the amazing snorkeling at the reef right off of our beach, and took us to the Blue Lagoon, which was picturesque and surreal. And there are kittens there! Also Rami always had the BEST food recommendations, everything was delicious. I think we definitely saw a more local/authentic side of Egypt and met some amazing people because of Rami, rather than a westernized/touristy vacation.

Just got home yesterday from an excellent holiday in Egypt and Turkey. Our whole experience in Egypt was through Amen Ra travel. I highly recommend them. We couldn’t have done this without their help. Both Rami and M Zayan are fluent in English and Arabic, organized tickets, rides, lunches, tours . We just had to experience and enjoy, they took care of all other details. Big thanks 🙏🏽
